Going To Court

What To Bring

If you have an attorney, ask your attorney what you should bring to court. If you do not have one, bring all documents with you. If your case is going to be resolved next time, bring a check book with you. You will need to pay fines after your case is resolved. Some courts take credit cards, but not all courts do. When you write a check to pay fines, make sure that you have enough money in the account. If the check bounces, a warrant can be issued against you. Remember, writing a check without sufficient funds is a criminal action. You really do not want to aggravate your situation by writing bad checks!
